After buying their first properties, founders Shona and Mark realised that the DIY industry could be easier for novices to navigate. Physical stores and online shops are filled with technical jargon targeted at tradesmen and self-professed DIY connoisseurs, it’s hard to know where to begin if you’re a renovation rookie. That's when they came up with the idea for Roomix.
Roomix removes roadblocks for beginners, empowering them with all the tools they need to make their space their own in one easy-to-use kit.

Brief
Roomix were already utilising social media to get their brand out there, but they wanted to expand their reach. To do this, they knew that paid media was the next stage in reaching targeted users at the right stage of their buying journey. We worked alongside Roomix to collaborate on an aggressive forecast strategy to help continue to grow the business.
With 50k TikTok followers and 84k Instagram followers, Roomix had the foundation and a great data set to utilise from the previous 12 months. The next step was greater amplification.

Working alongside their strong social media presence we looked at which assets to use on Meta and which truly resonated with consumers looking to buy in order to achieve a healthy ROAS within the platform.
Drive consumer awareness
From there we continued with paid activity across Facebook and Instagram (Meta) as well as Google paid channels to showcase all of the leading Roomix products.
Result: 96% traffic increase
Drive sales
Paid activity across Google search, shopping and Meta was essential in converting users to purchasers on the site. Google shopping has been revolutionary in driving more business with increased product variety.
Result: 58% increase in revenue

The story so far
Roomix has just had its best month ever with more sales than ever before. Roomix was also recently crowned the winner of the Seed Legals’ Social Sensation Award, which is incredibly well-deserved and the first of many awards to come for this revolutionary brand!
