Intro
Cutbox is a future-forward chain of barbershops. They pride themselves on their high-calibre barbers, their collaborative styling methods and an easy-to-use digital booking system.
They currently have 5 high-performing stores across Bristol and London. Cutbox approached Neverbland to help them drive bookings across their current and future store base as they scale the brand across the UK. The brief is about more than just increasing bookings, this project is about creating a genuinely adored brand across its consumer base.
The project involves optimising the Cutbox digital bookings sales funnel so that the brand can be grown at a local and national level. This strategy ensures that new stores can be rolled out in a structured and measurable way, whilst providing confidence that ROI is on plan and on budget.
Cutbox being a premium lifestyle brand requires a different digital sales funnel approach than other D2C brands. Even though the main search is for haircuts in a local area, Cutbox also needed to build a brand. Google paid worked really well for bookings, but by activating awareness and engagement at the top of the digital sales funnel they are able to generate far more brand adoption post a haircut because they are building brand equity through social media and digital comms. This will help them generate stronger brand advocacy in the future once the brand takes on a life of its own.
