Who They Are

Driftwood, a serene boutique retreat on Cornwall’s Roseland Peninsula, partnered with us to modernise their digital presence and drive organic engagement. Our goal was to reflect the elevated in-person experience of Driftwood online,visually and strategically, across their website and social media platforms through ongoing management as well as an initial photoshoot.

Outdated visuals and digital assets were diluting brand perception.

300–400 legacy images cluttered their profiles, many of which were low-quality or inconsistent with the current brand direction.

Infrequent social posting and poor visual storytelling led to stagnant engagement and low profile activity.

Learnings

Our Approach

1. Website Refresh & Visual Update

We initiated the project by streamlining the image library and updating all visuals with cohesive, high-quality content from a planned Driftwood Content Day. This shoot captured the essence of the hotel’s luxury-meets-coastal charm and became the foundation for both the website update and social content.

2. Social Media Clean-Up & Strategy Launch

Profile Clean-Up: Removed outdated posts and restructured the entire profile to align with a premium, curated aesthetic.

Highlights Refresh: Our design team reworked the Instagram highlights to create a consistent and visually branded navigation system.

Scheduled Content: 14 initial feed posts were scheduled following our shoot, each curated to build anticipation and showcase Driftwood’s offering with a focus on experience and location.

Story Strategy: 35 Instagram stories were posted during this initial phase, supporting feed content, sharing behind-the-scenes moments, and engaging the audience with real-time updates.

+595.9% increase compared to the previous period.

Massive growth driven by the quality of new content and improved posting consistency.

Followers: Up by 96.7%

A near doubling of the follower base since our involvement.

Profile Visits: +94.4%

External Link Taps: +305.9%

This significant jump shows that users are not only noticing the profile, they're also taking action.

Conclusion

This early-phase transformation has laid a strong foundation for Driftwood’s digital growth. The combination of an elegant visual overhaul, fresh content, and a consistent social strategy has already translated into measurable results in just a short period.

Driftwood is now positioned as both a destination and a brand worth following.
