Neverbland/Workindex® — projects created by the team over the past 11 years.
(2010 – Present)
Neverbland helped build the original brand and launch site for start up - Feast It. The company started out primarily as a platform to book street food for events.
After huge success and growth the company proposition has evolved to become an end-to-end events platform that covers everything from venue to photographer to - of course - food and drink.
Their mission has always been to help people curate unforgettable events with no stress and a lot of style: now with a new name. As Togather, they continue to empower their partners and customers to be a part of the events that everybody wants to be at, from start to finish.
Neverbland jumped in to help out their internal product team relaunch a fully revamped site.
WIT Fitness is an online retailer and training brand that connects consumers with the biggest brands, training programmes and athletes.
Neverbland has an ongoing partnership with WIT Fitness and we are helping to evolve and iterate the Shopify site with a view to increasing conversion to sales. We identify, iterate and improve key pain points and opportunities for improved performance, user experience, and brand communication.
Vive are an early stage skincare brand, who create products using an innovative CBD-based formula to help women with menopausal skin.
Vive approached Neverbland to create a commercially robust strategy to activate the sales funnel so that enough consumers trial Vive confident in the knowledge of the brand's high repeat purchases. The scope of the project includes consumer research, business modelling, digital marketing, UX/UI optimisation and an eCommerce Shopify build.
After helping Vive implement low-effort changes to their website, a coherent digital marketing strategy, and track their website analytics, Vive saw increases in traffic by 3,124%, engagement by 67%, and purchase conversions of 98%.
Clays brings all the fun of clay target shooting out of the country into the heart of the City. Visitors to the venue get competitive with interactive clay target action on Clays’ mammoth 4K screens.
Neverbland helped Clays with their launch website, visitor dashboards, and a robust booking system.
Zero Waste Club make eco-friendly products more accessible to people and to make it the number one consumer choice as opposed to buying plastic or unsustainable items.
They care about who makes their products and if they are happy making them. ZWC disclose who made the products, and how much they were paid. As well as the working conditions.
Neverbland designed a wholesale site for Zero Waste Club to scale up for the next stage of business growth.
Launched in 2018 Lendingblock was the world's first blockchain powered securities lending exchange. Neverbland worked closely with the founding team for the launch of their ICO delivering a new identity, brand guidelines, marketing website and platform UX that reflected their vision. The ICO reached its $5m target.
The Technology Playmaker Awards were announced in 2017 by Booking.com to celebrate and recognise women who have disrupted or are transforming businesses, industries, and communities through the use of technology.
Booking.com needed a platform to raise awareness of the new awards programme and to facilitate the process of receiving nominations from the public, shortlisting finalists and managing votes from the judge panel.
Working with Ketchum – Booking.coms partner for the awards – we established the user experience for the site that would communicate the proposition and allow anyone to submit nominations for each of the 10 award categories.
We integrated GraphCMS to empower the Ketchum team to manage the categories, judges, key speakers, finalists, and winners throughout the course of the award cycle. For the second year, we handed more control over to the Ketchum team by allowing them to open and close nominations, release the shortlisted finalists, and announce winners all via the CMS.
To meet strict data protection regulations required by Booking.com, we set up a secure server to host all nomination data – putting it all behind a hardware firewall, and making sure that everything was encrypted at rest.
Separately, we built a judge panel where administrators could upload shortlisted finalists for judges to review and consider before submitting their votes securely.
The second Technology Playmaker Awards ceremony took place in Central London on 13 March 2019 and was a great success. Sadly the 2020 awards we impacted by the Covid pandemic so were unable to be held in public.
Twizy Tours came to us with a clear mission. They wanted to create a brand new entertainment experience for visitors to London that would eventually expand across major cities, globally. Combining cutting-edge technology and award-winning production, Twizy Tours was an immersive entertainment with the city as your stage. Simply book and jump into one of their Renault Twizys and break away from the herd for a exhilarating guided adventure as London comes to life through storytelling and theatre.
We built a booking site, admin application with a CMS which enabled tours to be created as well as the tour app itself. Twizy Tours went live in May 2018 and quickly expanded to a second location at Blenheim Palace. It was also featured in the opening ceremony of the 2018 British F1 Grand Prix.
Sadly, Twizy Tours closed at the outset of the pandemic and never reopened.
Showing the human side of how artificial intelligence can help us all work together better.
While the Afiniti team were developing their new brand expression with their internal team, we were working to bring it to life online. The project was rapidly set-up and delivered in order to fit with an aggressive schedule driven by the major announcement of new partnerships, as well as the roll-out of their updated visual identity.
We developed a user experience and interface that made the most of the rich photography Afiniti had created especially to deliver a more people-focused approach to demonstrating the benefits of utilising artificial intelligence.
We conducted a complete rebrand for this Swiss-based hosting company to reflect their national heritage and principles of security and independence.
We delivered a new brand identity, collateral design and design and build of their website.
Global Blue's Shop Tax Free app offers everything you need to shop the world. It is packed with features to guide you through tax refund process. Cold Press are the pioneers of the technique that bears their brand name and their tasty range of juices are packed with as much nutritional density and is scientifically possible for an extended shelf life product. They had a great story but it wasn’t coming through sufficiently strongly on their previous website. Their site lacked the flexibility to keep pace with their ever expanding product portfolio and content creation (blogs, recipe ideas, competitions) that helped maintain high engagement levels with their customers.
Our solution was to create an easy to navigate engaging fully editable site underpinned by consistent templates that whilst providing flexibility would ensure that as the amount of content increased the integrity of the experience would remain.

In partnership with their founding team we meticulously redefined the brand identity, streamlined the user experience built using latest web technologies and a powerful CMS.

Fast forward to 2022 and Carv has raised over $5m to help it become the world's pre-eminent digital ski coach.
Founded by Tom Cledwyn and Tim Pits the Kickr platform enabled brands and celebrities to donate a ‘money can’t buy’ experiences to a charity of their choice. Users then entered to win the experience by pledging money to the charity. As a ‘Kickr’, users receive perks such as signed t-shirts for donating. Plus, the more you pledge, the better the perk with ‘Kickstarter style’ crowd engagement functionality.
Kickr launched in 2016 featuring high profile endorsement from Rio Ferdinand and the then Mayor of London Boris Johnson but sadly failed to reach its potential and the business was dissolved in 2018.
Graphics Springs enables non-designers and technicians to create fully custom, high quality brand identities in minutes all at low cost using their easy to use creator tool. The original beta product was suffering from a number of technical issues causing bugs and hampering its potential for growth.
Neverbland rebuilt the tool from the ground up and 6 years later it's still in the same incarnation having helped many thousands of customers create unique brands.

VOTD (pronounced voted) was conceived as a new way to recognise the talent in moving image content creation.
The concept is devastatingly simple: Videos are submitted by individuals, teams, editors, artists, or agencies— anyone with an award-worthy piece of content. The general public and a panel of industry judges have seven days to give each entry a mark out of ten. The winner is announced and scheduled to become Video Of The Day.
The site was an instant success quickly generating—11k visits, 7 searches, and 1.5k votes each month—we've expanded the platform to include a research facility, a playlist function and more recently, an industry jobs board.
VOTD is became recognised as one of the web’s most popular destinations to discover and watch the best in short form video.
It was acquired in 2019.
If you work in a creative industry you'll know how inefficient the process of gathering and managing feedback used to be. Our solution was to develop Conjure— a tool that allows an entire team, and third parties, to provide feedback collaboratively, efficiently, and in context of the work.
We devised a simple and robust workflow: Users upload their work and share with collaborators. Collaborators view the work and add feedback points and comments. When everyone is happy, the work can be marked as approved.
The vision was to get to market as soon as possible, so we launched with a minimum viable product that could support this core process, with a plan to develop features and functionalities iteratively as we progressed. We continued to enhance the feature set and reached a monthly average of 20,000 image views, 12,500 project views, and 3,250 feedback points added by clients including Saatchi & Saatchi, Datasift and AOL.
Conjure was acquired in 2017
Samsung approached us with the vision for a touch screen product to be rolled-out on 65" screens across phone shops nationwide.
Using our proprietary CMS we created a platform to support interactive browsing of Samsung's product lines and allowed content updates to be managed remotely.
Working with retail experts Mars London we meticulously wireframed and iterated on the user flow to capture customers with the Samsung world.
An impressive technical challenge we had was the remote distribution across nearly 1000 stores. On top of this there were different versions per retailer and multiple iterations.
To allow updating we had to keep all the assets to a minimum without impacting the visuals of the application. This meant keeping up good practice with light assets to enable the delivery of the versions over 3G.
Altitude Music held over eight and a half thousand tracks in their database from 100s of multi-award winning composers.
Their vision was to create a simple, elegant library where clients could search, listen to and download music for ads, soundtracks and video games.
We built a fast, scalable, single page app that required no reloads, with a sticky waveform player. We also introduced shareable playlists before Spotify made them a thing.
Complimenting the front end was an easy to use CMS giving Altitude full control over their content and enabled tracks to be easily bulk uploaded and tagged.
The platform underpinned Altitude’s continued growth leading to the company’s acquisition by BMG in August 2016.

We're believers in making things simple. So when we discovered the lengths creative agencies and production companies were going to in order to pitch for work, we spotted an opportunity and designed and built Slate, the simplest way to search, archive, pitch and present your work, in seconds.
Slate, a media management tool designed for simple, smart control of website content and media assets. With a centralised media library at its core it removed the need for multiple services and for copy and pasting embed codes
Its simple, beautiful interface powers everything from video to news, contact and content pages, as well as artist profiles and listings.
Slate was sold to Extreme Reach in 2017.
Datasift is a world leader in human created data. Their platform connects to a real-time feed of human data, uncovering insights via their sophisticated data augmentation, filtering, and classification engines.
Prior to Datasift’s acquisition by Meltwater, NEVERBLAND worked on numerous classified design and development projects associated with Filtering (CDSL), Classification (VEDO), and Indexing (PYLON).
The Datasift engine, at the time, had the ability to analyse the entirety of Facebook’s topic data, (anonymised and aggregated of course) in real time via their API. The potential for this was huge, but limited in that all queries had to be carried out internally via custom scripts written by their engineers.
Datasift wanted the power to be in the hands of its customers, so briefed NEVERBLAND to create an intuitive visualisation engine enabling customers to explore a range of data-sets in real time. The challenge was significant given the sheer number of variables and potential for cross referenced queries. Our solution allowed users to easily pick from a range of relevant fields – from demographics and interest areas, to sentiment and engagement – and refine queries or even hand edit the CSDL. Results were then generated in the form of graphs which could then be resized and arranged as appropriate.
